Thanushrii is 8 years old today, 9th November 2008..
My sis-in-law wanted to plan a small, simple party, which turned out to big a little bigger than what she imagined..
A couple of neighbourhood families were invited. About 10 kids turned up. Nehal, Thanushrii & their friends had a great time playing and running around the house.
We went in the morning.. Helped a bit in preparing the goody bags for the guests and other food decoration preparation. Guests starting arriving around 4.30pm. Then they were playing and playing.. The cake was cut around 5.30.
Sis-in-law prepared mee hun, nuggets, 2 types of popiahs. Also some other jellies made by another aunty. My mom also made some jelly and some kesari.
In between Thanushrii opened her gifts.. She got a musical box, coloring set n few other stuffs.
After the kids ate and played, they started leaving and the last guest left at around 8 and we left around 8.45.. Must have been a tiring day for everyone, especially my brother and sis-in-law..
I am sure everyone had a good time..
